Counselling Support for the Complex Modern Family

Ann Walter Counselling provides a safe space for parents and youth to explore their relationships and discover new ways to show up in today’s complicated world.

Parenting is
complicated.

You’re Not Showing Up As The Parent You Want

  • You’re trying to deal with your stuff and parent your kids well
  • You feel shame and guilt for not being a “good parent”
  • Your life feels too complicated and hard.

Being a person is bewildering.

Finding Your Place as A Person In This World is Hard

  • You find yourself feeling anxious
  • Old memories or intrusive thoughts make it hard to focus
  • Getting through the day seems mystifying.

Feel Understood

You’ll feel heard, valued and most importantly understood as your own unique person.

Drop Your Guilt

You’ll explore leaving the guilt and shame you’re carrying around behind you.

Gain Insights

You’ll start to better understand your place in the world and how to manage your feelings.

I know what it feels like to struggle and need support.

I’ve been privileged to work with many parents and youth to find a safe space to open up and discover their relationship to nature and the people around them.

How It Works

1. Book a Free 15 Minute Call

Book a free call and let’s figure out if I’m the right counsellor for you.

2. Meet and move forward

I’ll get a sense of what you’re looking for and we can book your first session.

3. Find The Support You Need

From a safe place, begin to feel some relief.

At Ann Walter counselling I know you want to be a present and secure person. In order to do that, you need someone objective and caring to talk to. The problem is you’ve tapped out your friends and family, which makes you feel like no one understands what you’re going through. I believe that every client is an expert in their own lives. I understand what people need to feel safe, respected and understood, which is why I’ve helped so many parents and youth gain insight and understanding in their lives.
